Sadly, COVID/long COVID is political and if decision-makers, for example, hospital administrators, back down and adopt mask mandates/clean air policies they admit they've been wrong for many years! I suspect that opens them, key actors (IPAC/some ID folks) and their institutions to huge liability.

I don't think it just opens liability for the IPAC/ID folks but for the orgs they work at. IPAC/ID folks don't work alone; they report to others who've approved this 🐴💩.
I don't think that's the real issue.
