Since I don’t work in the news business, maybe someone can educate me
When the Secretary of Defense tells news organizations what they should write and how they should cover the news, is that propaganda
Because to the uninitiated user, it sure seems like it

Anthony's TV
This is the default configuration of Samsung TV. GB News has bought prime spot.
What this meant was that racist chat entered my front room yesterday ("foreign NHS workers can't speak English").at 6.30pm with my six year old listening.
How can Ofcom just sit back and let this happen?

By not taking on GB News, Ofcom are allowing them to operate as a normal provider and that gets into your fragmented information architecture whether you like it or not.
So now a small child heard racism (I couldn't get to the right remote quick enough!)

Tom and Jennifer are ok. Humour is bypassing Goldblum - if he's even listening to any voice but his own. Not enough host intervention.

I think I've probably used a bank note once in the past month and maybe a coin at some point too to get a supermarket trolley.
Amazing how much energy is being spent this week by the right of British politics on something that is rapidly becoming an irrelevance

In praise of Jeremy Bowen
His Today programme monologue on Trump, war in Iran, and the history of the Middle East was exactly how the BBC should be reporting on the world.
“To say Trump has no plan & is making it up as he goes along is a reflection of the evidence of our eyes & ears. To equivocate on such a serious topic is not good journalism; it’s cowardice.”

Sons were suspects in nearly one in five cases of women killed by men in UK in past year
Figures recorded by Femicide Census in past 12 months indicate highest rate of matricide in 16 years
sorry to make a bleak news run more so, but this genuinely brought me up short: the number of mothers killed by their sons. It's a form of domestic violence that is so little talked about. www.theguardian.com/society/2026...

“Elon Musk’s Tesla given go-ahead to supply electricity in Great Britain.” A subheading underneath says: “Ofgem licence means firm can replicate Texas setup of powering homes, businesses and EVs.”
Ed Miliband must step in and bar Tesla from holding an energy licence.
Elon Musk is a threat to our national security and clearly not a fit person to operate in our energy industry.
We can’t have the lights go out because he’s having a strop on X.

WATCH: Nigel Farage and Robert
Jenrick change fuel prices in Buxton at
a Reform UK petrol station
They have pledged to reinstate the 5p
fuel duty cut in their first Budget
Farage and Jenrick pull a stunt in Buxton in protest at the fuel prices which are going up - on account of a war they both back - started by a man Farage flew thousands of miles to "have dinner with" only for said man to decide he was busy.
So much dignity going on.

Now I don't want to panic anyone, but he is top scorer in the Eredivisie this season. We've been here before, haven't we? 😬 #BHAFC
