Would it work if you framed it as Jack telling Percy stories from his past, so you can include Percy from the start but also have the past scenes in sequence?

That character is one of the most gleefully unpleasant people in the entire story (it REALLY works for the plot but god she's genuinely so awful, it's so well written)

Her name is also a reference to that character - meitantei is Japanese for "great detective" which is how the character Erika often refers to herself. One of the background tracks that plays in the VN whenever she's in a scene is called "meitantei ha shitteru" - "The Great Detective Knows"

WIP, same character. The only thing that has changed about Mei's design since I first drew her in my young teens is literally just her hairstyle. She originally had pigtails based on god damn Furudo Erika, of all things. She absolutely does NOT act like Erika at all tho.

Juto is looking in the mirror and brushing his stubble, saying he needs to shave. Jun jumps in asking him to wait and brings in a thick black jacket. He tells Juto to put it on and strike a pose. Juto asks "Like this?" while holding his hands in a pretended gun pose. He wonders if this is about Leon Kennedy again. Jun confirms it and Juto says that he likes Leon's style.

yeeee this is one of my fave bits of trivia: that's why those things on the headrests of some trains and planes and stuff are called "antimacassars"

because the hair oil was "Macassar oil" and yes it would stain EVERYTHING it touched, hence the antimacassars!
