With a βSmokeyβ aura!
Truth! π
Those held up very well.
Yep! Hope they donβt say βBBQingβ!
Being from NC, we have an expression, βBless their heartβ. I think itβs appropriate. π

No! No crunch!
Good try but nachos are on a crunchy chip. Pizza is on a dough that may be crunchy depending on the style.
Itβs a tostada!
Lasagne is not crunchy, thus canβt agree with your argument.
No need to be normal. Whatever that isβ¦.π
$8.59 at Ralphβs
No, but @faineg.bsky.social made a fantastic mushroom bread pudding!
A very poorly wrapped Christmas gift.
Bless @faineg.bsky.social they do try. Did not occur to them to make this the bottom of the box. Zoom in on the tag too.
Watching them try to wrap a gift is a gift to me.
After you rinse and dry it off, you can still add butter under the skin and dry season as you wish. I tend to baste twice in the process to get the skin browned to the level I like. Hope this helps.
I prefer the wet brine method for turkey. Gives the salt time to bring in the flavors to the meat. Try this one.

I had to add some photos without that delicious apple mustard sauce on top. Gotta show that grill char! π
Better location shot.
Actually you are correct and win the βwhereβs Smoke Daddy prizeβ! We are just down the road from the Terlingua Ghost Town. You know your West Texas desolation.
Thank you!
Planned to make a final βpresentationβ photo.
Well, the hunger kicked in and I failedβ¦..so this is what ya get. Sorry! π
On the grill!
Been awhile since I posted.

Another roadtrip food post. Who has tried a Runza? Going thru Nebraska yesterday and tucked into this delicious ground meat, cabbage and cheese sandwich. The bun is baked perfectly. Similar to the ground steak from my home townβs (Mt. Airy, NC) Dairy Center.
Winner!!!!
Duck wings
We are on a roadtrip to visit @faineg.bsky.social. Found a gem of a restaurant called River & Woods in Boulder, CO.
Can highly recommend! Book at the bar. We had Duck Wings, Trout, Chicken and mousse. Wines were excellent. Maddie and Rob took great care of us and shared great wine info!
Thanks for sharing that story. I know the Grace Moravian Church and have friends that are still attending.
