Sent this letter to @wyden.senate.gov and @merkley.senate.gov ... I don't know what else to do. This situation is intolerable.

I live in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC. I had a library card when I was eight (50 years ago), as did my daughter (ten years ago). Neither of us even had a photo ID to present, and none was required. The claim that photo ID is required to get a library card is pure bullshit.

The calls for trans people to be quieter as we're wiped out are only going to increase, and you owe it to your sisters and brothers to get louder and louder.

Apparently LLM generated "AI" bullshit is enough of a problem on Wikiepedia at this point that they had to create a new category of warning/reproach for editors and pages using it.

Last month, an 18-month-old at Dilley was taken to a regional children's hospital with dangerously low blood-oxygen levels after her parents had begged for weeks for someone at the facility to address her illness, the parents said in an emergency petition for her release. A 35-year-old woman released last week said medical staff initially refused to see her after she began hemorrhaging profusely, soaking through six sanitary pads in an hour; she was ultimately taken to a hospital. And last summer, a 32-year-old man died at the Florence center after being detained at the facility for roughly three weeks. The man had been detained even though he was seriously ill with diabetes and had recently been hospitalized with dangerously high blood sugar.

Whenever you read a horrifying list like this about people who are critically ill or died in ICE concentration camps it’s important to remember that these are just the stories that got out because they were lucky enough to have lawyers who could tell their stories.

This style of light doesn't really appear in animation anymore. You know it when you see it -- it's bright, hot and almost dangerous.

The DHS officials who were knowingly lying about the incident weren’t committing obstruction or covering up, they were committing accessory after the fact. Charge them. It’s no different than hiding a known criminal in your basement or disposing of the murder weapon.
