I fully believe that. It's been a long time since I cast a ballot in Texas, but mostly I remember a machine a small booth with no descriptors or information about any of the issues. I felt so blind, like I should just guess. Texas doesn't seem to want voters.
Again, reminding everyone that we didn't see the coffins of service members come home from Iraq & Afghanistan the way we did during Vietnam. We should not erase our dead service members, especially for some TV flunkies' approval.
Most locales have a variety of safe drop boxes you can directly place your ballot in, cuz yeah, you're not wrong. And yes, being able to verify vote count online is a must.
Mail in voting=being able to research your ballot at your own convenience. It's a glorious thing. All Americans should want mail in voting.
