Well they didn’t dodge it like I thought they might, but 4 week ban for foul play that everyone but the ref and tmo apparently saw, essentially keeping France in the driver seat for a championship. Pretty poor standards all in all.

Will not be surprised if Jegou gets away with it because they don’t want to admit the refereeing errors and procedural error of not reviewing in match foul play has had a direct impact on who wins the tournament. Could directly effect both Ireland and Scotland depending on Saturday results.

Does it count juggling passes? Could that be like 4 touches/pass?

You know when you’re grabbing a face not a ball in a maul even without looking. I donno what mitigation can be found here. Main question is how on earth was it not picked up in the game. A few friends said they saw it live on tv and thought it was obvious.
