It’s a bit of a portmanteau of my deadname and the name I would’ve been given at birth had circumstances been different. Much as I didn’t care for living as the wrong gender, I can’t honestly say every day was terrible; past me got me where I am today, and I don’t mind honoring that.

Same here with 37, and that was after multiple egg cracks and self sabotaging compromises over the years (“maybe I’m just enby”, “maybe I just prefer to have long hair”, etc.).

And even then, I can’t be too mad at myself; all those failed conclusions forced the right answer eventually.
