yeah I liked Montreal *a lot* but Quebec is very strange. Canada is fine, Canada is just another country. Quebec is like visiting an alternate timeline where Napoleon won WW1 or something.
Reasonable sound bite. But in practice a lot of it is proscribed by Medicare.
If there ultimately has to be some entity that rations healthcare and tells patients/consumers “no” it totally makes sense why given the culture of the US the public has decided it should be for-profit corporations rather than the government.
