I don't know. Feel like the first 3 Ratchet and Clank games still hold up pretty well (played all of them pretty recently). That said Sly is no slouch either. Curious how do you feel about all the additional characters they added in 2 and 3?
Hard to believe next year will be the 25th anniversary for this series already -_- Didn't play these games until the late 00s so dont think I'm as blinded by nostalgia as I am with games like Banjo Kazooie and Jak & Daxter but still think it holds up (definitely shows its age in some parts though).
As a bit of a palette cleanser between Kingdom Hearts DDD and Kingdom Hearts 3 I decided to play through Sly and the Thievous Racoonous with my wife. Definitely one of those games that is always a pleasure to visit every couple of years. Always forget how short it is though :P #dax2026games

Can't believe there's a hard mode available for the game where you abandon Checkers and play the entire game as the duck. Don't know if I'm heartless enough to do that... Please dont tell me there's a trophy/achievement that makes you do that -_-

Marblesand Checkers both play pretty uniquely, almost giving off Mario and Luigi: Superstar vibes (overworld stuff). When you lose your comrade the options you have to navigate the environment are trimmed down significantly but it still makes it possible to finish each level w/ just 1 of them.
As somebody who could never really get into the original Donkey Kong trilogy (played/finished DKC: Returns on Wii tho), I wasn't sure if I would enjoy Windswept or not. However I'm glad I took a chance on it. Have had a delightful experience with the game so far. Plus look at the cute protagonists!

Playing through the original with my wife right now. While I enjoy the original perfectly well, some stuff like the pick pocketing and the inclusion of Bently/Murray as playable characters really made Sly 2 feel like it was punching above it'd weight for the time.

While their utility in combat is advantageous to say the least (MVP so far)...
...God damn does the male Monk character portrait make them look like they are borderline anorexic (men can have eating disorders too). Wouldn't be surprised if he had a concave ass :p
While I overall enjoyed revisiting Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, I'm looking forward to never having to 100% this game ever again. The special portals are driving me nuts right now... The final two are refusing to spawn for whatever reason in the Fantasia world (dropped 20-30x in a row too).
They're moving that direction but they still have some original projects in the works at the very least. Think after a while it just becomes easier to green light sequels than justify a new product.

Watched Batman: Soul of the Dragon tonight after seeing a couple of clips for it show up in my YT algorithm. Honestly enjoyed the hell out of it. Not exactly a work of Shakespear but damn was it a lot of fun :)
