This local Wolfdog joined an Olympic ski event and triggered the finish-line camera. This is Nazgul. He snuck into a cross-country skiing sprint this morning and raced the homestretch with some competitors before being escorted home. 14/10 someone get him a medal
People can say it’s utopian or dreamy but it’s a fact that you have to believe new things are possible, fundamentally, in order to make them real. You have to make the choice to believe that more than this is possible & not be resigned to this being the way things have to be because it’s not at all.
The crayon art I draw was partially out of spite for the modern idea that "art" is hyperealistic perfection with no flaws. I feel like this idea is what partially pushes AI; nobody wants to start out with flawed, rudimentary art out of fear.
But art isn't meant to be perfect, polished, artificial.
Update regarding the No Context Toontown Twitter account.

So, I got roped into a conversation about violence and games, and I decided to explain why A) games are not art (hehe), B) violence is good, and C) there are a lot of problems facing nonviolent games, but I'm sure someone can figure them out

An armadillo blows into a megaphone on a street in Mezzo Melodyland. From the megaphone come the words, "Backstage Corporate Clash: Sound Effects." Music notes surround the Toon.

But we won’t be able to fix it. We’ve been trying for years. We needed YOUR help. We needed allies in the fight.
For the sake of your future self, of generations to come and because it’s the RIGHT thing to do - join us. Help us fight back. Admit our current course is unsustainable.
/end
You will be unable to live in denial anymore. You can’t “other” yourself.
Some people will try - but the truth will out. You will realize that you are NOT the exception and that you too are “vulnerable”.
when that happens - most of us will be there for you. We will try and help. /5
One day the tables will turn and YOU may be on the side of the “vulnerable”. When that happens you’re going to wish you had listened to us. You will wish you had fought with us for inclusion, safer public spaces, better social supports.
You will realize how little help there is. /4
If you’re telling yourself certain things are “only a threat to the vulnerable”… you’re making yourself arbiter of someone’s worth
You don’t get to decide who’s worth protecting & who isn’t. We are ALL worth protecting
Everyone has value & it’s not about their health or economic contribution /3
You can’t throw away entire groups of people & retain your moral compass.
You can’t toss people to the wayside for “back to normal” and not contribute to death and disability.
You can’t openly support hateful, ableist, racist politicians and not become enveloped by hate yourself /2
Disabled people are screaming at the top of our lungs that the current situation with Covid, climate AND politics is NOT sustainable.
We’ve lost too many people already. Millions of others have joined our ranks & are learning to navigate ableist & eugenicist systems
🧵 on losing our moral compass
only consuming bad news online every day is probably good for your mental health overall

Don't make me tap the sign
Everyone give a warm welcome to the next wave of newcomers Lol
This is your reminder that Covid is airborne - so what YOU do impacts ME (and vice versa). “You do you” doesn’t work with a virus that spreads through the air.
Wear a mask and clean the air. Break chains of transmission.
