I hate fascism lol

#BookTok peer pressured me back into a DNF that I put down as a kid. I picked it up again as an adult and love it :3
Seriously considering just exclusively using this and TikTok. Anything to give Zuck and Musk my enormous middle finger
A drive to actually push myself more in 2025. Writing's not just a hobby anymore - it's a personal ambition :)
The characters for sure! I believe it's a better hook for the readers to get them invested first in who the POV MCs are.
#pretendpanel @heretic-saint.bsky.social hmmm tell me about Stardust of Morgrad. Since my WIP classifies as scifi/fantasy I'm curious how yours would blend the two concepts since that's what I read in your bio? And if not, do tell me more about the series anyway lol
#pretendpanel 27. Aside from my readin, I researched a ton into the ins and outs of crony capitalist society and what it would look like. I tried to iron out these details in my worldbuilding.
#pretendpanel 25. It gave me a new purpose and something to strive for, especially since it lets out all my frustrations on present-day society.
#pretendpanel 24. Systemic racism/oppression is very real. Girls should pursue their goals and dreams no matter what said system says. Masculinity is not rooted in boasting power, but protecting/caring for others. Huge corporations in America are twisting us against each other.
Back from Korea so lets play catchup! #pretendpanel 23. Don't think I really have one but I do think that young women and teenage girls will resonate best with my FMC as an ideal role model.
My blissful face knowing Iβm in Korea and oblivious to the crapshow happening in the US right now.
#pretendpanel I'm somewhere between both. Given my complete dissatisfaction with the U.S government and society (and in many other parts in the world such as the Philippines), I vent these frustrations in a world where I can help it...sorta. That's why my YA protags pull the weight in saving it.
#pretendpanel Both my MMCs share sides of me with one being the old me and the other being the ideal me. They reflect my awkward + confident mannerisms, respectfully. However, I also took the flaws from them both and inflated said flaws so they don't come off as Gary Stu lol
LOL!
#promopost 20. I'm a bit of both! I put a bit of myself into all four of my MCs (including the two girls) but they're mostly based on people I know. All the side characters are based on people I know, too.
#pretendpanel 18. Overall I'm extremely proud of the direction of the story. I'm just not satisfied with the technical features and readabulity.
I cringe so hard when I miss a comma. π
#promopost 17. Yes but saying so would be spoilers to some of my readers here. :) *wink wink* @juliebihn.bsky.social
#pretendpanel 16. I enjoy writing most of my normal scenes, especially when my second MMC (Kai) likes to flirt around with my FMC (Andi). It's usually with banter that I'd use whenever I approach ladies π
#pretendpanel 15. Enjoying Korea so I'm playing catchup! I put a ton of my heart into this story as it projects a lot of my frustrations with modern American society as well as contains four MCs who are dear to me in some way.
#pretendpanel hmmm my two FMCs. Joelle "Jo" Byrne, a headstrong and spunky psychic 16-year old girl from the slums with visions to prevent the apocalypse. And Andrea "Andi" Elias, a 16-year old soldier with incredible fame and beauty, but masks her awesome magic power from an oppressive world.
#pretendpanel wooooo-ey traveling got me behind.
12. I think cyberpunk is a genre that has gotten little love recently, and it's easily my favorite sci-fi subgenre π
13. Impostor syndrome and constantly battling it.
How are you writing your personal story in 2025? Whether youβre a plotter like Brandon Sanderson, a pantser like Stephen King, or somewhere in between, the goal is the same: keep writing, keep growing, and craft the life you dream of.

#pretendpanel 11. I answered this exact same thing days ago but for top 5. π I am most inspired by the (almost) love story between the FFVII characters, Cloud Strife and Aerith Gainsborough. I also wanted to expand on the cyberpunk fantasy concept that the game offered, but didn't do enough IMO.

9. Ayn Rand, Tomi Adeyemi, and Marie Lu
10. Hard to say since I havenβt had it for 3 months which I call a personal W π
Day (L)8: #pretendpanel Impostor syndrome is the authorβs worst enemy. Donβt allow yourself to get into a toxic relationship with your book. Keep striving to make it the best you can, no matter what others think.
Day 7: I aim for 700 words a day, written or edited. No set routine as I keep myself busy throughout the day as long as I take time to self-care and enjoy life. π
A checklist titled "Checklist for Fellow Southern Californians Right Now" in bold text at the top. Below, there are several bullet points with checkboxes for actions to take during wildfire emergencies: Prepare a go bag (see the second slide for details). Download the Watch Duty app. Download PulsePoint. Sign up for CalFire text alerts at www.fire.ca.gov/prepare/get-ready-to-go. Check your air quality, use masks, and stay inside. Check on elderly neighbors and offer help. At the bottom, a separate section titled "If Youβre Directly Impacted" lists additional tips: Be careful of heat and embers. Shut off gas lines and items like propane tanks. Avoid power lines and report them to your city. Please listen to all evacuation orders.
A checklist titled "What to Pack/Have in Your Go Bag" in bold text at the top. Below, there are several bullet points with checkboxes for recommended items to pack: A map with two evacuation routes. Additional prescriptions and medications. Copies of important documents (birth certificates, passports, etc.). Flashlights and a battery-powered radio with extra batteries. A 3-day supply of food and 3 gallons of water per person (if possible). Change of clothes, extra glasses/contact lenses. Pet food and water bowls. Fellow Southern Californian friends, here's how we can prepare right now.

I think #1 is the least relevant to me but the other ones are super helpful. I love writing/blogging/vlogging because I love doing it, and whether or not it generates me income is just a bonus.
3. #ImpostorSyndrome is a liar. Ignore that bitch. You've spent a lot of time obsessing over it and convinced yourself it's terrible. People reading it for the first time don't have that problem. Your story is not as bad as you think it is. Promise.
#pretendpanel Day 6. Pantzer to begin. Plotter during the editing process. I'm not really one to debate this because there's no righr or wrong way to approach :P
