Doing a #dtiys to celebrate 1K on instagram, thought I'd share here too.

My favorite one wins 5 A5 prints, no AI allowed, contest ends on the 9th of February at 11:59PM. Details on my insta page in bio.

She got really sad and blamed herself for her dad's ignorance (i really hope he has no idea otherwise this is just cruel), so I spent a while reassuring her it wasn't her fault.

I'm just crushed that A PARENT would do this, not only to someone they know but also to his daughter.

I knew immediately this was AI. She went on to say her dad "does this with lots of photos".

I don't hide my emotions well so she noticed i was sad and asked "didn't you want him to do that?". I explained that he used something called "generative AI" and that it's bad for both the planet and my job.

I work with kids and when they're calm I'll draw manga portraits of anyone that wants one.

Today a kid i'd drawn for came up and said "My dad took a photo of your drawing on his phone and made it colour with trees behind it". My heart sank.

What a great headline
