My concern with the talk of the TSS is that there is no solution even close to being acceptable by both sides - I don’t see how issues like the full demilitarisation of Palestine and the full right of return will ever be accepted (one for each party noted here)

The most common question I get on here is: If tariffs are so bad, why do other countries use them?

The answer: They basically don't.

Most of our trading partners have almost no tariffs, and the few they have are in politically powerful sectors.
