I’ve been photographing anti-ICE and related yard/window/tree/street signs around Minneapolis. The variety of commercial and especially handmade signs is amazing, as is the urge for people to let their neighbors know they care and are furious in ways big and small. Batch #5

The Vitruvian Man as a visual "gauge" or dial. The different arm angles of the figure correspond to labels along a color-coded arc (green to red), similar to a speedometer:

REST – arm down (fully green)
PET DOG – slight upward angle
PET CHILDREN – moderate angle
CALL TAXI – arm nearly horizontal
CALL WAITER – arm raised high
NAZI – arm fully extended upward at a straight angle (red zone)

Where things stand with the Department of War A statement from Dario Amodei

I think one of the most staggering industry shifts in my 16 years as a tech reporter is that it’s not become a question of β€œshould our product help the government kill and/or surveil people?” but β€œto what extent?”

Always and everywhere the same misunderstanding. That the left has to mock or to intellectually degrade socially motivated religious folks. Then they are surprised if the liberal side loses. I literally turned left because in the Catholic youth I learnted: Feedback the poor. Don't stone women.
