Im reading The Book of Night With Moon by Diane Duane now. Its about cat wizards who's job is to monitor all the intraerdimensional world portals in Grand Central Station in NYC. And how do they do that? By literally manipulating the cords/strings that build these portals. Like yard! 🥹
