I still find it hard to believe that even with my absence, you patiently wait for new content, and I'm being honest. I'm also still committed to bringing new content.
Seeing that many people are genuinely interested in my Sonic AU, which started as a silly idea from a doodle I made out of boredom, makes me quite happy (+)
In the future, I would also like to work on my original projects; I see fan projects as practice that helps me improve not only artistically, but also in the way I write narratives and express emotions.
As I've already mentioned, now that my Sonic AU is finished, I plan to resume my other AUs from other fandoms to give them a worthy ending. I no longer care if anyone is interested; I simply want to stop having unfinished AUs in my idea bank.
Seeing that Underverse has endured despite everything that's happened to its creator has kept this archived/indefinitely hiatus idea alive with random drawings.
I didn't cancel this like other projects because I have a personal attachment to it. At the time, it was fun to share these things with fellow Undertale artists, but unfortunately, I've seen each of them disappear, and I don't even know what happened to them (+)
Although I started noticing that nobody cared about Undertale AU fan projects anymore, at that time I was 17-18 years old and I got quite discouraged and saw that it wasn't worth it to keep overexerting myself for a project that nobody would see, so I shelved it (+)
3) Null public interest: In 2021 I had planned to resume this project that I had left, even calling it "Project Eclipse". There were times when I overexerted myself and my hand started to hurt, but I was still enthusiastic (+)
I didn't feel I had the skills to bring to life the whole story I had in mind, and at the same time I intended to revisit this idea once Underverse was finished, but this was combined with another reason (+)
1) Personal problems: The same ones that had led me to pause/cancel personal projects
2) Overly ambitious story: The story became more complex when I decided to connect the stories of my two Undertale AUs (Reisontale y Numbertale) (+)
Long before my Sonic AU, I was more focused on my Undertale AU fan project; it was even the first one I thought of turning into a novel. Why didn't I continue it? There were three reasons.
It's been since 2021 that Eight and Tooc last received a redesign. The most curious thing is that they've existed since 2017, so this would be their third redesign, although this one is the final version.

That is why I sympathize with Genocide, knowing later that he was a being from the void who only lives to kill in order to stay alive.
There's more to the friendship between these two, but that's something I plan to show in the novel; Genocide will make an appearance about halfway through.
Although Mecha is him own person, he still has the feeling of being someone dangerous, combined with his inability to feel fear, this makes him someone precise, as he decided to give his all if he is forced to fight, fight until their body collapses.
Although Mecha has memory loss (he doesn't know his origin, much less what life he had in service to his creator), He is aware that it is not something common, being something that was created to serve orders and eliminate Sonic.
The first time he met Genocide, he didn't see him as someone with bad intentions; he saw him more as someone curious, like a baby owl (a nickname he later gave him). A good reason why I sympathize with Geno is that he knows firsthand what it's like to be a machine of destruction.
Mecha is not silly; even with his inability to sense danger and fear, he has a "sixth sense" that allows him to know the intentions of others, Whether good or bad, this is because he is a very sensitive person, is a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP).
Mecha, for him part, is aware that Genocide is not something natural, although he is incapable of feeling fear, much less danger. In him systems, he has a program that detects danger, and thus him body reacts on its own to avoid suffering critical damage.
Genocide found Mecha a very interesting subject for two reasons.
1) His inability to feel fear, since he was not treated as a stranger.
2) Genocide was aware of the robot version, but encountering Mecha, who is a cyborg, was intriguing.
