Most of you follow me as a historian, but my day job is eclectic...in the last few weeks I've been asked to put together a presentation on groupwork + student teams for a faculty committee, join a college panel about project management, and lead students through a strengths assessment. Fun times!

I'm working on a project about spiritual communion (in the writings of early modern Jesuits), but I just found an author discussing *spiritual confession*, which I have never seen. Has anyone come across this before? In any medieval or early modern context? #skystorians

Looking at how Jesuit authors treated 'spiritual communion' in their devotional writings...the short pitch being, we know they were famously vocal advocates of frequent communion, but basically nothing examines Jesuits + spiritual communion. (cont.)
