This is a new type of finish for me! I combined cross stitch with English Paper Piecing! This
mini quilt came out super cute. I'm pretty pleased with it. It's also entirely done by hand -- no sewing machine involved!
Slowly working my way up to hand quilting a proper quilt one day. 🤣

Brown pencil of my character, #PudgyHorse, a baroque type horse with luxuriant mane and tail and deliberately exaggerated proportions, including an extremely generous girth and short, delicate legs with dainty hooves. Pudge stands with windswept mane and tail in three-quarter view, their hindquarters towards the viewer, beneath cherry blossom boughs.

I know that people are avoiding patterns without stitched examples becasu if AI, but I also am a SUPER slow stitcher and just generally don't have the time to stitch everything up.
