While Super Mario Bros. 3 popularized drawing tanuki with the striped tail of the western raccoon, it's not the first work to do this. In fact, one of the many ways Dr. Slump shaped the series is that Arale wears one that predates Mario's.

The least ideal understanding of this whole thing is that this Mega Man game isn't seen as entirely profitable (when their best seller makes about 2 million), it's a possible $30 release game, that some costs would be cut somewhere.
Would like this to be reconsidered, but possibly what's going on.

Right, right. It's only a few vague ideas I'd have to jot down to make concrete. Just a lot of "things only a video game would pull off" sorta things, but also throw curve balls.

My currently vague feeling is something that's a mix of a LucasArts game (puzzles & dialogue) with River City Ransom (venture around a city map), with gameplay that attempts changes in the story with quirky fights and minigames. Probably ambitious even on a small scale, but something different.

How easy is it to make an indie video game without a proper understanding of game design and having an averse fear of codes? Probably doable, yeah?

Cis people need to pay attention to the way they communicate this. They freely admit that after all of their research, they came up with zero evidence that HRT was harmful.

Then they banned it anyway, claiming their inability to find a reason is a reason in of itself.

4 in the hey-day was especially well loved, in a "fighting games are back!" sorta way, so it had that going for it for a bit. But it was also seen as "Back to SF2 style but in 3D", that it felt like a bit of a regression. Its main innovation to this day may just be the 3D models and costume packs.

The most it gets talked about is being a springboard for the return of 2D fighters, and many better 2D fighters happening since, that it gets heavily overshadowed by them. The most you can say about SF4 is that it's a nice playing SF2 with triple the roster. Not very innovating but fun to play.

The only similar experience I did have is a brand new toy's package being deliberately mangled just to fit into their packaging. Among other poor experiences & not the best customer services, it didn't feel worth continuing with them. No matter how readily available or cheaper they are.

It's shocking how bad their services has become worldwide, the more people order from them. To the point the deliveryman just considers "knocking on the door once and waiting for just one second" enough to consider you're not home and leave your package outside the door as they zoom to the next one.
