It is a little suspicious but almost meaningless on its own

For me, furry is akin to drag: something folk get to try on. They’re playful, performative, expansive. We get to exaggerate, remix, explore. That doesn’t make them fake—because drag isn’t fake—but it is a different mode. Furry is something we can take off, Therianthropy is constant, gnawing, primal.
