I love political chess games, but it wasn't elaborated enough for me, or only after something happened. I don't know how to describe it, it wasn't enough to awe me.

I just finished it today π
But thank you. β€οΈ

Drop something BROWN
Finished #NirvanaInFire π
I might disagree that it was the best #cdrama, but it was certainly interesting and well written, the acting was top notch.
The editing failed me a few times (when they cut a scene) and it was a start to remember all names.

Oh absolutely. I worked in Germany for a short time, mostly talking in English, very rarely German. But when i got home my mind could only think in English. My friends made fun of me first that i forgot Hungarian, but later it pissed them off π
Yes, in speak I'm slow because of the grammar. The different conditional rules still kill me (If I had ..., I would have... etc).
Plus pronunciation is difficult. I learned British English but later picked up American, and sometimes I just guess the word, so it's chaotic how I talk.
I hardly used Crunchyroll. Most of the anime I watched wasn't there anyway. But recently I ignored anime for the sake of dramas, just not in the mood.
iQIYI has many Chinese animations!
I loved it too, one of my favorite modern dramas. But I understand why many who loved the novel disliked the drama. She has a totally different kind of strength, the quiet persistent lonely wolf one.
I'm curious about the novel or manhua though.
I am obsessed with Japan from age 13. But at that time nothing was available except a few old B&W movies with samurai :D
Internet is a great thing.
Kdrama came after I watched a beautiful movie ~2012 and I nearly completely ignored Western cinema since then. Cdrama only came with Untamed.
Using apps or anything in English is a great way to learn or keep up. I also use it chatGPT and I have foreign colleagues. But my written English is far much better than speaking.
But your English isn't bad at all! I did not realize it is worse than mine.
From the short videos and promo I can see we will go to war, but please start off already π
OMG, young actors often trick me. Like William and Lego in ThamePo :D
GMMTV spreads its content on many platforms, they don't exclusively deliver to only one.
I subscribed to iQIYI a few weeks ago and cancelled Netflix plus Crunchyroll :D
Fees might be different per country.
I'm a bit worried. I liked the First Frost change, but hated Zang Hai's FL, or Legend of the Female General.
I really really hope they won't disappoint me with PoJ.
To be honest I also enjoy the current setup. My biggest complaint about kdrama and cdrama is the female characters.
Now Fan Changyu is still perfect and in the novel she remains perfect as I heard, but dramas often deviate and rewrite character types (First Frost, Legend of Zang Hai). So ..
Oh, is he flirting with our Fan Changyu?!
*death stare*
For me everything is set in English.
It might sound weird but I don't understand computer words in Hungarian (and I'm a programmer), so since university time my mobile, PC, laptop, tablet is in English.
Yes, but it is somewhat new. When Netflix got available in my country (10 years ago or so) I asked my friends if they see any Asian dramas, especially Japanese stuff and it was hardly 1-2 then.
I quite frankly? It pisses me off to subscribe to American providers to watch Asian dramas.
LOL, who made this map? Goodby Love person π
Btw this actor on your pic reminded me of Yun Qi (Fan Xiao in To My Shore).
Whose brother?
From the pic I don't get the villain vibe, but Weng Kai (Qi Min) really nailed it, it will be difficult to overturn him :D
Oh?
It's true that you can't find Japanese movies or series, even anime easily. πIt did not improve much in the last decade.
Somehow they still live in their own world, isolated from the rest of us. I wish every Asian country followed Korea's approach to go global.
Yes, then we are at the same point.
Also Qi Min is killing me, he is the hottest villain looking guy ever π
But he looks and behaves so malicious at the same time.
Btw MXTX (Untamed) is rather a martial art world type of thing with clans, sects, a bit of ghosts.
TGCF (HOB) is with humans, gods and ghosts/demons. Mostly the gods are the main characters.
I've got stuck with #PursuitOfJade #cdrama π«€
It had a great start, even the best in this genre, but the last 4 episodes was so slow and kind of slice of life, but without interesting or memorable events (for me).
Anyone who is beyond ep14, will it finally speed up?
Btw it's possible to turn on/off notifications by categories. I was so waiting for this, for turning off Likes.
