Simultaneously, if I reach a point where people who'd like to put me on a gender binary genuinely cannot... I would *love* that, yay! But also, the experience of growing up and living as an AFAB individual are and always will be a part of me. And I want that to be seen and understood, too.
There's layers to it for me. I'm trans non-binary. Most people still read me as a woman, for now. In many ways, it would be easiest to keep it that way. I won't. I want/need to be seen as the enby I am. It won't make things easier to look more queer. But I need to.
Watched Ibelin yesterday. After that, I've been constantly thinking about the internal conflict between wanting to hide something big about yourself to avoid bias and wanting to be seen as yourself because you're a human, and humans are pack animals.
