We are all intertwined within our context, embedded in places that either nourish us or deplete us.
I recently moved from a very depleting context to a very nourishing one, and the way that shift has expressed itself in my body surprised me.
Thanks for reading!
Itβs blueish!
Bringing land to life and seeking interbeing with all life around me
Now this feels like a great intention!
Have fun! π
Thatβs better than Jump Around, which I learned last week that I know all the words to (Iβve got Shoop memorized too, of course).
This is good advice and it does work. I was in a good long run when I did Ship30. Right now I write maybe 500 words every day, but in my journal- itβs much much harder for me to actually publish for others to theoretically read!
Michelle, I identify so much with this and your post helps me feel seen :)
Itβs a beautiful idea
This is really what I need to be doing. Iβve published daily before but lately I have really lost my voice. I need something to jumpstart my inspiration!
Rob, whatβs your advice? What tools/strategies are you using to keep yourself accountable?
Letβs see the sky where you liveβ¦
I live in North Carolina and weβve got blue skies all the time here.
Blue skies are like a deep breath, the blue sky is where the light shines in.
I used to love to tweet and connect with others but lately I feel like Iβve lost my voiceβ¦ I just wasnβt liking the vibes over there.
Iβm hoping to connect with new and old friends here under this big blue sky.
Introductionsβ¦
Iβm Kristen, avid gardener, landscape architect, and mother of four kids ages 5-14.
I spend my days running an ecological design company called Roots First, building a course called Bring Your Land to Life (we just finished the first cohort!) + writing about ecology/people/place.
I love this and I can identify - I too felt that I wasnβt a good storyteller but now I feel like I am the story, weβre in the story.
Last night I sent myself an email that said βI am a storytellerβ just to remind myself.
I hope it stays that way!
Thatβs great. Iβve always loved learning from you and look forward to getting to know you better!
I love it! Excited to see what you share here
This is funny. Itβs like you were on candid camera
I canβt get over this sandhill crane that was hanging out at a highway rest area in Florida. They are so beautiful.
Thanks for encouraging folks to come over here. Iβve been done for a while over there and looking for a breath of fresh air!
Hello blue skies!
