FACTS:

Net Zero barely nudges your bill.

Fossil‑fuel wars send it through the roof.

So when Farage and his ilk slags off renewables while fanning conflict, remember who actually hikes your costs.

I've put in a couple of complaints about Mason's "journalism". I think him and Kuenssberg have done incalculable damage over the years. It's not just that they are right leaning - their "analysis" pieces are utterly vacuous. The writing is sub-GCSE. Their interviewing is so lightweight.

BBC going with bitter sarcasm for their main headline this morning.

I get yelled at for saying this but for many hundreds of years people went to university not to get diplomas or be employable but because immersion in the humanities was considered foundational to a good life, and school must return to its original purpose: the joy of learning.

Nigel Farage is celebrating Reform UK shady donations, whilst jetting off to Washington.

On the day MPs head to their constituency to do the job they were elected to do.

Trump is spending a billion dollars of your money every day in Iran on the most expensive fireworks show in history.
That's a billion dollars per day that could be spent on giving yoiu health care.

I can't remember it word for word, but there's a German saying that works here.

It goes something like: "If you have nine people at a bar and a Nazi sits down, and no one does anything, you have ten Nazi's at a bar".

What's the old proverb?

Act in haste, repent in haste?

Apparently he only noticed that 'Reform UK are β€œchasing headlines” rather than offering what he described as substance' after joining the Refukkers. News must reach Burnham-on-Sea slowly...

GB News has never made a profit because it doesn’t exist to make a profit. It exists to exert pressure to push broadcast news channels further rightwards. It is about further poisoning the information environment. That’s why it exists.

A brilliant letter from a Party leader who genuinely cares about the plight of humans struggling to make their lives even remotely palatable, to a Home Secretary who once shared the same sentiments.

Looks like The Express wrote the headline before the conference happened.

It’s clear now that they were due to announce someone like Kate Hoey, and it didn’t happen, leaving them with a defector that no one knows.

It’s embarrassing.
