He/Him, manager of the mighty Rogues Gallery Comics, progressive, and fan of Star Trek, spooky movies, possums, stormy weather, comics, podcasts, and Watership Down - look, it's not nightmare fuel, it's the rabbit Lord of the Rings
A photogenic couple for sure π
It looks pretty serious

Youβre very welcome! It ended up a pick of the week for both me and another staffer.
Love that you included Baumβs original intro, btw, along with (I think) a new version of the Oz map?
They do look pretty serous πΈ
I have not! Remind me in the next week or two and Iβll correct this!
Today is the day I learned there was an original short film of Reservoir Dogs π€―
for everyone else: buy trans literature & art NOW while you can.
thereβs a non-zero chance that queer and *especially* trans voices wind up being temporarily silenced at some point over these next 4 years.
support trans people *now* while we can still ask for help & make incredible art in public.
Seems like the right path
The ACLU, who I strongly suggest supporting, is also resisting with lawsuits
Looks beautiful
I always really liked this episode. Big reveals about Delenn, some depth to the bad guy, and William Morgan Sheppardβs amazing voice.
Do you really have to use a third party app on BlueSky to edit posts?
Because I'd much rather edit than have to be a proofreader.
So DOGE was created for Vivek and Elon to cut government waste, and the first cut⦠was Vivek.
I'm a pretty big nerd for Hideo Kojima's opus, the Metal Gear games, and this review has me almost certain to buy the board game. Sounds like they nailed stealth mechanics and have great boss fights.

"To watch the sun sink behind a flower-clad hill.
To wander on in a huge forest without thought of return.
To stand upon the shore and gaze after a boat that disappears behind distant islands.
I looked it up, just to confirm. Generally a decent summation of a Japanese word. More in the comments on its pearly use.
When I experience it, itβs among the most meaningful experiences in my life.
I watched it about 20 years, a few years after it wrapped. Great stuff, and was just talking about it with my actual brother, who also watched it last week.
I never heard as much buzz on the Pacific follow-up, but I'm curious.
Hey so any of the folks who claimed β without evidence β that Biden was profiting off of the Presidency:
Any comment about Trump and his wife dropping new shitcoins on inauguration weekend?
Iβm an Oz nerd going back to the 80s and Eric Shannowerβs graphic novels. Iβm also a comics retailer (Rogues Gallery; Round Rock, TX) and I had a chance to sneak a read of this early.
Itβs really good! Really feels like youβre walking around in Oz, and some of the more remote corners at that.
I love how Denmark isnβt taking any shit from Donald Trump. π©π° π€£
I knew it would be visually spectacular, and it was, with many scenes like paintings brought to life, but I also really liked the story and characters in this third incarnation of the famous silent movie. I expect Iβll be turning it over in my head for a bit. A strong first impression.
