Three months since I started my hiatus but I miss streaming! I'm not quite in a space where I'm ready to come back just yet, but I really hope everyone is doing okay! I know a lot is happening out in the world. When things feel overwhelming, take some time to breathe, okay? You got this.

Throwing a hot coffee on a barista because you hate Starbucks doesn't help anyone. For many people YT/Twitch/etc can pay bills/feed a family. You can choose to stop watching if you want, but don't spread that message for your fake-hero-clout and act like it's not harmful to marginalized communities.
How many people turn to streaming etc because it's something they can do at home with a disability? Because they're LGBTQ+ and their work environment became hostile? Even just after being laid off? If ICE ads pop up on the channel of someone who happens to be an immigrant out of work fuck them huh?
Rare responding post but this one bugged me. It's just wild to be like "streamers that have ads (that they can't choose) on their channel for [evil thing] should give up their platforms/deserve to lose their audience." This stinks of privilege. Fuck ICE but c'mon.
