Dahlia’s going to just shake her head softly to what Henry is saying with her soon placing a gentle hand against his shoulder and presses a soft kiss to the side of his head.

“You know what I think that’s a great idea baby but don’t neglect yourself okay? We can’t have that darling.”

Dahlia’s going to roll her eyes affectionately, her hands wrapping around Henry’s waist to support him as they finally get into a room where the doctor is waiting to examine him.

“Just try and be a lot more careful in the future okay baby? That’s all we are really asking from you.”

“Okay first off ew and second Dad you really need to be careful. Anything could have happened if you wasn’t careful.”

Dahlia’s going to try and hold back a laugh hearing her daughter’s words as she’s smiling over at them both. “Let’s get you seen now okay baby?”

“I made sure to tell her when she wasn’t driving. And yes I told her not to panic or anything since I know how worried you would get if she was driving and panicking.”

Dahlia’s going to press a soft kiss against Henry’s cheek when she soon sees their daughter has arrived.

“Oh no she was more questioning why the hell her father is an absolute dumbass. But for the most part she’s worried about you and I mean really worried.”

Dahlia’s going to gently give Henry’s hand a soft squeeze as she’s finally sees their daughter arrive. “Now prepare for a lot of questions.”

“Oh well was I supposed to tell her that you pulled your back doing the dishes? I mean knowing you it’s a possibility since you can’t carry me up the stairs without doing that.”

Dahlia’s going to sit back in her seat now until she hears the doctor call his name and looks at him again.

“Not mad just more wanted to ask why you ended up staining your back and hurting yourself badly. But don’t worry I told her a story that was completely different to what was really happening.”

Dahlia’s going to let out a little chuckle now as she’s glancing over at Henry once again with a grin.

Dahlia’s going to just shake her head ever so slightly now but is going to press a soft kiss against his cheek whilst letting out a little bit of a sigh of happiness.

“You are adorable by the way. Mags should be here any second however so guess that means further embarrassment.”

“See this is why you need to be at the hospital and not at home! Honestly if we are waiting for hours I’m blaming William simply cause I want too. It’s so much easier than accepting you did it.”

Dahlia’s now going to get the nurse so that she can explain what’s going on.

“Henry will you stop being dramatic for five minutes so we can get you looked at. I don’t think you are paralysed dear but we should just get you checked out just in case.”

Dahlia’s going to place a gentle hand into Henry’s own before pressing a kiss to the top of his forehead.

“Why would I leave you if you’re paralysed? I wouldn’t leave you darling never especially cause that would be pretty shitty of me to do just that.”

Dahlia’s now going to press a soft kiss against his forehead before helping him into the hospital and explains what’s going on.

“Henry Emily! This is not a joking matter sir! Don’t you dare say something like that especially since you’re more than likely going to be in a wheelchair if you are paralysed!”

Dahlia’s going to give her husband a stern look as she’s soon just shaking her head softly with mild disapproval.

“Henry. How many times have I told you to take it easy with your back? No more making jokes until we at least know that you haven’t made yourself paralysed or something!”

Dahlia’s now going to get to the hospital with her soon calling for a nurse to come and bring a wheelchair for her husband.

“Henry don’t you worry okay? We will get to the bottom of this and hopefully learn you have not pulled out your entire back cause that would be rather bad don’t you think?”

Dahlia’s going to let out a faint, almost strained chuckle whilst keeping her attention on the road whilst driving.

Dahlia’s almost immediately going to get out of his arms and begins to gently help him back down the stairs and into the car. She’s also made sure to call Mags on the way so she knows what’s going on.

“Don’t worry Henry we will get your back looked at I promise dear. It’s all going to be alright”

“That is more than okay darling. Maybe we could give each other a massage since it’s been a while. But can you believe we now have a granddaughter?”

Dahlia’s now going to rest her head against Henry’s shoulder and let’s out a soft sigh of happiness once again.

“We can go to bed if you like darling but also if your not feelings tired yet I don’t mind staying awake a little longer and having a conversation. It’s entirely up to you what we do my love.”

Dahlia’s smiling at Henry now with her pressing a few soft kisses against his lips and soon sighs happily.

Dahlia’s going to let out a soft laughter when she hears what Henry is saying and is now leaning in so that she can press a few soft kisses to his lips before moving to rest her head against his shoulder.

“Your being quite romantic you know. It’s almost sweet how romantic you can be.”

“We can still have fun Henry don’t you worry about that. Technically, there isn’t an age limit to when the fun stops. Besides we do have a whole house to ourselves also.”

Dahlia’s now wrapping her arms around Henry and is beginning to sway ever so slightly on the spot.

“Hmm well that would be a good question to ask her but I’m also not getting any younger am I? And besides we also have a granddaughter now. Maybe we could spoil her instead?”

Dahlia’s taking Henry’s hands into her own and gives them a gentle squeeze before letting out a soft sigh of happiness.

“It really is. But it also makes me miss when she was just a tiny baby my love. She was so cute back when she was a child.” Dahlia’s now going to let out a small sigh whilst resting her head on Henry’s shoulder.

“It feels like only yesterday when we brought Mags home from the hospital.”

“Well if she’s anything like you then it’s safe to say that our daughter is going to spoil her little girl rotten. She’s going to be a great mother I just absolutely know it.”

Dahlia’s going to smile at Henry now with her soon pressing a soft kiss against his lips and sighs happily.

“I don’t really know to be honest with you darling. I wish Charlie was here but I do also know that we get to give our granddaughter the love we felt for our girl.“

Dahlia’s now placing a gentle hand against Henry’s own whilst smiling softly. “And I know she’s going to be so damn lucky.”

“You know I still remember when herself and Charlie wanted to do matching bunny onesies for Easter. We could never get them out of the things.”

Dahlia’s going to let out a soft chuckle as she’s carefully rubbing Mags om the back and smiles once again. “She’s so cute.”

Magnolia is going to let out a soft whine at the suggestion of going to the hospital and is now curling up into Henry’s side and rests her head on his shoulder.

Dahlia can’t help but let out a soft chuckle as she’s smiling at them both. “Still so dependant on her Daddy’s cuddles even now.”

Dahlia’s going to frown ever so slightly but soon is rushing down the hall when she hears their little girl crying and is immediately opening up the door and takes Mags gently into her arms.

“Hey sweetheart shhh it’s okay. Hey hey it’s okay. Henry come here darling! She’s burning up quite a bit.”

“But it’s nice that Mags came back to us too. Our little girl isn’t so little now. And we are going to have a granddaughter isn’t that amazing? Our baby is having her own baby.”

Dahlia’s glancing down the hallway to the room where Mags is currently taking a nap after not feeling so good earlier.

“I know you do darling and I’m so sorry that you feel this. To be honest I just absolutely hate that William is the reason our daughter won’t talk to us. I miss seeing our little girl.”

Dahlia’s never allowed herself to get emotional over it but right now she’s grieving the loss of both her girls.

“I just wish she would speak to us. I hate that we are so estranged from our little girl now to be honest with you. And we can blame that man too.”

Dahlia’s sitting down next to Henry now as she’s soon resting her head against his shoulder and lets out a rather saddened sigh.

“Well I’m sure we can figure it out together but speaking of journalism and other things I actually wanted to show you something that I think your going to be proud off.”

Dahlia’s now going to grab the newspaper and show Henry the news article that their eldest daughter wrote.
