I’ll confess to a personal bias as #DaveTwist has been, for over 40 years, largely responsible for the design and graphics on most #SeventeenRecords releases (#TVEye, #TheHawks, #TheLastBanditsInTheWorld et al) but DO NOT MISS OUT on this fabulous book.

But that’s not strictly true.
1972, 11 years old and I heard #BuddyHolly for the first time.
Soon after I owned this very cassette.
Not, for me at least, the day the music died.
I fear he’s probably brought the cavalry with him now, but it can’t be too soon (or, hopefully, too late) to check in on “A Horse In A Hospital”.

Flicking through the pages of the end of year edition of Mojo in a nearby newsagent, I glanced at the best reissues of 2025.
One thing I’m sure of is that Swell Maps’ Epic Soundtracks would be pleased to see his band in the same list as Laura Nyro.
