If the coach staff told Karlo to play drop coverage like they did with DJ. He wouldn’t have nearly as much foul trouble. Karlo gets into foul trouble in 1 on 1 which DJ never has to deal with.

I flip flop on DQ almost every day. Obviously a part of it is tied to the trade so I’m constantly looking at him to be better than he is. But he needs to learn to slide his feet and rebound

For the 3rd time in the last 4 seasons, the Lakers will finish with the highest free throw differential in the league. In the other year, they were 2nd. There is no valid reason for this.

Do you know if there is a way to see offensive rebounders based on nearest defender. I swear Zion never boxes out and just turns to watch the ball. It feels like his man gets a few offensive rebounds every game.

Not unless Bryce or Herb foul out.

I think he was in front when he decided to foul but by the time he actually makes contact he was a half step behind. AD and Joel agreed with the call.

I don’t understand his value. We just signed a two way player who shoots better, plays better defense, and doesn’t have a turnover problem. I’d honestly almost prefer we play Hawk and see if he can recover.

This and Zion’s comments about not taking threes felt incredibly real. It’s so easy for players to hide behind PR speak, so it’s exciting when their authenticity peaks through and see you some humanity. Especially when it’s positive or you can relate to their message.

Maybe the rankings will be relatively set by the end and we will run into some teams resting a player or two.
