On the messiness of in-person teaching. We see this in Carpentries workshops, too, the surprising misconceptions, the interplay between instructor and learner to even get to the question, never mind the answer.

This feels relevant to HPC educators, also. We spend a lot of time on "it allows you to scale", and try to emphasize that it's a different *kind* of resource, too. It does have limitations, and kind of feels like it's in your way sometimes.
