We watched Karina Villa chase down ICE in a suit and heels, telling them to get out of her community. Margaret Croke intentionally panicked white parents about their selective enrollment schools vanishing if neighborhood schools received additional funding. This race is ICE whistles vs. dogwhistles.
I’m grateful for Ald. Quezada’s support, and for his commitment to closing loopholes that big corporations exploit to screw over homeowners.
We have more work to do to relieve the tax burden on working families. I’m proud to be doing this work with him.

I’m proud that these groups could come together to condemn Draft Kings and Meta’s involvement in the Illinois House District 13 race.
I wish the 40th and 47th Ward Dems would hold themselves to the same standard with Sara Feigenholtz who is benefitting from the same.

O'Neill Burke's office said they began drafting the new "Federal Immigration Enforcement Action Response Protocol" months ago. It's more detailed than a similar memo the California AG's office released in January.
