A new pole barn that was being constructed on Route 5 in Farnham collapsed during the high winds today. No one was injured.
Orchard Park - Rescue teams are assembling at Chesney Ridge Park for someone on a trail with an ankle injury.
Early this morning, the East Aurora Fire Department was dispatched to the 300 block of Olean Street for the report of a structure fire. Units reported a working fire on arrival.
The small house was heavily consumed by fire and suffered a collapse around 1:00 a.m. There were no injuries reported.
Several fire crews are currently on the scene of a fully involved detached garage fire in the 100 block of Lakeview Avenue in Orchard Park.

Hamburg - Possible apartment building fire in the 3400 block of James Avenue, between Milestrip Road and East Allen Street. Caller reports smoke coming from under the doorway of their neighbor's apartment. The neighbor won't answer the door.
If anyone in Boston/Eden is missing a cow, it's been located wandering in the middle of Keller Road in the 5400 block, between Fedd*ck and Zimmerman, but closer to Zimmerman.
Drivers in the area should steer clear of the cow if they encounter it, in case it doesn't moove over.
Fortunately, no one was killed. Surprisingly, there were no serious injuries reported either. Please slow down and pay attention to the road when you are operating a motor vehicle, especially at highway speeds.
Traffic was light, the roadway surface was clear, and the accident occurred on a long, straight section of road. The driver of the pickup truck sustained no apparent medical emergency prior to the accident.
The semi driver stated that he had noticed a possible mechanical issue with his truck, and was slowing down and pulling to the shoulder when he was rear ended by the pickup truck.
The pickup truck was destroyed by the high speed impact and subsequent fire, and was towed from the scene. The semi was also towed from the scene.
Fire crews arrived to find a fully involved pickup truck in the middle of the westbound lanes, with a substantial amount of debris in both lanes. Newton Abbott EMS provided medical care to the drivers. The Thruway Authority assisted with traffic control and in removing large debris from the roadway.
At approximately 8:23 a.m. today, February 26th, the Scranton and Newton Abbott fire companies were alerted to a vehicle accident involving a semi on the I-90WB in Hamburg, near Shultz Road.

Winchester firefighters and the West Seneca Police Department responded to a single car accident at Clinton and Harlem in West Seneca this afternoon. The car jumped a curb and struck a pole after losing control in slushy snow. No serious injuries were reported.

At about 2:20pm Friday afternoon, the Orchard Park Fire Company and numerous mutual aid companies were alerted to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of the Buffalo Rehab Group, located at 4200 Buffalo Road in the Village of Orchard Park.
The fire was quickly extinguished with no injuries reported.
A coyote was spotted this morning on Route 5 in Mount Vernon (Hamburg).

West Seneca - A substantial vehicle accident on the I-90 westbound at the exit to the 400 has blocked all lanes. Numerous vehicles are involved.
Traffic is at a slow crawl, passing slowly on the left shoulder, and is already backed up past 190 interchange, nearly to William Street.
A tractor trailer accident has blocked the right lane of the I-90 westbound at Exit 60 (Westfield).
Authorities have confirmed that all 80 occupants of the Delta Airlines flight that crashed at Toronto Airport this afternoon have been accounted for. Eight occupants sustained injuries.

Toronto (Ontario) - Plane crash at the Toronto Pearson International Airport. It is reportedly a Delta Airlines passenger plane that rolled onto its roof during the landing phase.
Injuries are unknown at this time.

Orchard Park - Rollover accident on the 219 northbound in the area of Armor Duells Road.
Command is evacuating the building, switching to defensive operations. 12:57pm
Portville (Cattaraugus County) - Working house fire in the 1500 block of Lillybridge Road. Occupants initially evacuated but then re-entered the house. Tankers and ambulances requested.
Langner Road is impassable between Fisher Road and Ridge Road in West Seneca, due to a tractor trailer that is stuck across the road.
Hamburg - Vehicle accident with injuries in the first block of Center Street, between Main Street and Long Street.
