Second this, however the consent process is so different in πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ. The lack of a consent form when I moved over was very surprising in the beginning! I do worry about informed consent in labour analgesia as often clear from brief check with mother that information from labour ward has been… lacking

No as not using cricoid pressure is supported by πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ national anaesthetic body (due to the normal arguments against it). Some may still do it but not at the center I work at. In πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ it’s generally difficult to bring civil claims against individuals; there’s an insurance system for iatrogenic injury.

Not actively recommended anymore in Sweden by national body for anaesthesia. Not seen used during my time as anaesthesia resident here.
