They wrote an amicus brief for it, support it to this day, and will likely be a huge obstacle at getting rid of CU, unless we get them to reverse their stance.

Without the ACLU on our side, I don't see how we get rid of CU.

Recent term-squabbling has bristled me the wrong way, too.

It's one thing to call out hyperbole; it's another entirely to debate whether technically we are IN fascism or pre-fascism or neo-fascism or have bought a bus ticket en route to fascismville or whatever.

If your philosophy, religion, government, ideology, psychology, etc doesn't follow these 2 simple rules: it's junk. Reform it or junk it.

All people deserve dignity and compassion, regardless of how lowly. Even criminals.

All people owe accountability, the larger the power, the larger the responsibility.

From my friends I see who get even a little bit of fame - if nothing else, the talent means that lots of people would like some of your time. Famous people ration their time out of necessity.

What do we need, as a civilization? Food, shelter, healthcare, communication, sanitation, security, teaching.
