Cannexus is Canada’s leading national conference on career development and PFY has been attending and presenting for nearly 20 years. This year, our Youth Works and NBYCN teams focused on deepening their understanding of new research and the growing complexities facing youth in and from care.
Youth Works is designed to support youth in and from care as they build confidence, skills, and pathways toward employment and education. Through up to 11 interactive workshops and one-on-one mentoring, participants develop practical job readiness skills.

In 2025, The Rent Bank helped dozens of New Brunswick youth and families stay safely housed by providing short-term financial support during tough times.
This small but powerful program prevents homelessness before it starts, offering stability, dignity, and breathing room when it’s needed most.
By the end of January, many people feel like they’ve already “failed” at their resolutions. But what if we let go of rigid goals and focused on something gentler? In our latest blog, we explore the difference between resolutions and intentions.
