@australianlabor.bsky.social supported AUKUS in opposition when Morrison brainfarted it, they’ve since taken it to two elections as policy.

We won’t see a defence policy that reflects what Australians want unless we cease voting for the major parties.

Penny Wong deploying her considerable intellectual and political skills on #Insiders.
Unfortunately they are being put to a cause that does not promote peace common sense and our sovereignty.
We are being sucked into war and no amount of verbal gymnastics can hide this reality.

With Wilson as shadow Treasurer, Well Done Angus as leader, and hard right figures like Hastie and Price elevated, the 'alternative government' is now more than ever the Australian political wing of the Atlas Network.

Something few in legacy media are willing or able to investigate. #auspol

Laura Tingle on the Israeli president’s divisive visit - ABC listen After the horrific Bondi terrorist attack Prime Minister Anthony Albanese invited the Israeli president to come to Australia. It’s a visit welcomed by prominent Jewish groups, but President Isaac Her...

We need to "isolate antisemitism from anti-Zionism from anti-Netanyahu sentiment. They are separate issues."

Laura Tingle says what few in the media will.

But Herzog, the Israel lobby and the political & media class are deliberately promoting that confusion. #auspol

AFP confirms it won't arrest Israeli President Isaac Herzog amid calls for investigation The Australian Federal Police has confirmed it has sought independent legal advice about how to handle the president of Israel's upcoming visit to Australia.

If the Zionist lobby has been trying to divert attention away from Israel's #GazaGenocide and the allegations against Isaac Herzog for incitement,
they have never heard of the Streisand Effect. #auspol

Australian politics used to be a relatively serious pursuit, with most participants taking their responsibilities seriously. That is no longer so. Mostly now they range from mindlessly corrupted to actively clownish in their behaviour. One thing we don't get anymore, as a result, is good laws.

The Greens are calling on APRA to step in & stop the skyrocketing property investor lending that is fueling the housing crisis. New ABS data shows investor lending has jumped by 12.3% while first-home buyer loans have risen by just 0.9%. Who's buying all the houses? Investors. 🧡

I always find it interesting how the story changes when a lawyer gets to court. They can say anything they want outside of court without accountability but the rules are vastly different in court where you can get seriously penalized for lying.

Dear Bluesky

Zohran Mamdani showed the Democratic party exactly how to win, but I fear they will totally deny the lesson. Meanwhile, ballroom boy has already pivoted to affordability. Please don’t let the old guard lose yet another election due to corruption and incompetence.

Thanks,

God

Beshear: Let me be clear. The president has both the funding and the authority to fund snap during a shutdown. In fact, every other president in every other shutdown has done so. People going hungry in this instance is a choice that this president has made.

The real choice Democrats face is not between a continuing resolution that allows the government to function normally or a government shutdown.

Under the Trump regime, the government is not functioning normally. It is already shutting down.

Democrats must not legitimize Trump's coup.
