In honor of the Port of Olympiaβs 75th anniversary, the Port Commission authorized construction of this kiosk and surrounding paving stones, engraved with the names of the current land tenants, to serve as a tribute to the colorful past and a gateway to future development.

My grandma was born in 1921 and shopped at The Olympia Farmers Market when it was at Yard Birds on Capitol Way.
The market had been around since 1975 and at this location since 1996.
