Drafts Continues After what felt like an absolute writer’s block for this whole month in regards to the Drafts story, I managed to write more yesterday in one go. Thankfully, the January entry ended at an excellent point in order for February to kick off without feeling like it was trying to finish a thread before starting a new one. I knew that fixing myself to write monthly, no matter how big or small a chapter, would be a menace for me but it needed to be done. As the story continues, the more it feels like my character is in a world where things shift and change and yet doesn’t distract from the adventure.

FireFrei writing resumes; Drafts story progression! I got to watch A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and this far, I enjoyed the premiere. In a world where shows usually have this obsession with starting off hot, hard, dark or aggressive, it’s nice to have a show start off simple. Knowing ahead of time who Egg is, I at least have the knowledge that what is coming from this show will be good — especially if George R.R. Martin himself was directly present and involved on set. I’ve been enjoying the time off from streaming. Don’t get me wrong, I do have the itch from time to time but after 5 years of streaming content that consists of in-game commentary, reactions and breakdown, I’m occasionally reminded by YouTube that I’m an artist, not just a gaming content creator.

2025 in the Rear View Mirror! This has been quite the year. Between starting a monthly writing project, to finally being up to speed with transposing FireFrei onto my computer, enjoying the free Affinity desktop app, and having updated my phone & laptop, there’s a lot to be grateful for. Verso’s Drafts! Revisiting the Finale of Expedition 33! My favorite 2025 game won GOTY. It was worthy of every award it won. When you think about it, an ultimate underdog story. Then they did the thing — Verso’s Drafts popped up in an update at the end of the 2025 Game Awards. I didn’t wait and I streamed within the last 3 days. Monthly Writing Hey 322 Crew, Fall is definitely arrived here in Tampa. Morning temps clocking in the low 60s and soon mid-50s. It’s truly refreshing and the days of mid-80s or 90s are behind us. Work schedule has opted to mess with my sleep pattern but as of today, things will be back to normal. I have begun to start a monthly writing schedule non-FireFrei related. At this time, the name of the story is called Drafts. It had been on my mind to do a story project where I write a chapter, long or short, for each month an at the conclusion of 12 months, release it in printed format.

FireFrei transposing continues! It’s been a while since updating but no worries — I have resumed transcribing the story and boy is it refreshing to revisit to edit after months of hiatus from editing. As of this entry, I’m on page 62 — and that’s counting the chapter art covers. In the middle of all the political heat happening here in the USA, it’s been refreshing to just put step away and do what I love — which is drawing and writing. When awaiting my kid to get outta class, I’m doodling at a local Salem’s and when it’s day off and I’m home, if I’m not streaming or watching something, I’ll likely put my mind into writing.
