I’ve spent years, decades, obsessing over the Bush Administration’s Iraq WMD lies, writing about them, debunking them.
I can think of no lie about Iraq WMDs told by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld et al that comes even close to the enormity and absurdity of this lie from Donald Trump.
I’m not convinced everything’s a distraction from the Epstein Files.
I think he’s doing all this bullshit because he’s an asshole.
Or you could just have put the details into your calendar manually, using the repeat function. Thus saving some of that precious water and power. (Yes, it might change when there's a bank holiday, but bin collections are never earlier than usual - just later.)

Would be good if the Prime Minister and/or Home Secretary would for once come out and describe this as the unadulterated racism and xenophobia it so clearly is.
Perhaps the Democrats should let him name anything he wants after himself, especially if it involves funding. He's not going to be around much longer, after all, and once he's gone it can all revert to the proper names. And it's not as if anybody's going to change what they've always called things.
