Sorry, Sandor.
Super heroes should always be the way they were when I was 15!
It's bizarre to me how many people in the comments here seem to think that automation is going to translate into more freedom for the working class.
When has that ever panned out? How much leisure time do you have, after years of these "innovations"? We are Charlie Brown trying to kick the football
My son is in kindergarten and doing algebra for fun.
I think my life would have turned out a lot different if the school I went to had a gifted program. I wouldn't have contracted "i don't give a shit"-itis at 12.
They're giving my son an IQ test at school today in an effort to get him into the gifted program before he gets to third grade. He's pretty excited about it and so are we. A lot of his behavioral issues stem from being bored all the time.
My son apparently dreams of this tower fairly regularly. It does not seem to be The Dark Tower, though.
I REALLY tried to stop reading when Roland enters the Tower last time.

Same. I really only want to hear from my usual circle or people who are 80% or more in agreement with me
Long days and pleasant nights. We will meet at the clearing at the end of the Path.
@scheu.bsky.social - what are you picking besides Book of the New Sun?
Isn't it weird when someone outside your usually 5-10 people comments on one of your posts?
Stephen King fans are either people who are all in on the Dark Tower or people who are wrong.
If I could only read five series over and over for eternity:
Michael Moorcock's Elric
Stephen King's Dark Tower
Fritz Leiber's Lankhmar stories
PG Wodehouse's Jeeves and Wooster books
Richard Stark's Parker books
Too many honorable mentions to list
Dark Tower hardcovers with Charlie Choo Choo up top
Since @comicsinthega.bsky.social is just beginning his Stephen King journey...
Is this going to be the year I reread The Dark Tower? Last time was in 2019 right before me son was born but I didn't time it quite right.
It's so sad the way he went out.
Americans and the rest of the world are currently paying a mad bastard tax in term of all the extra costs due to the mad bastard in the white house.
Did Chuck Tingle do border patrol agent pounded in the ass by illegal immigrants yet?
I so looked forward to every year's new Pratchett book.
What celebrity death hurt you the most?
Can we just bulldoze civilization and start over from scratch already?
On the plus side, you can find all King's books cheap.
There's one I still post on. It hasn't changed much since 2008 but it's stable.
Don't read the Dark Tower books until you've read enough of King's other books so you'll catch all the references
Is it time to go back to blogs very few other people read?
Venture Capitalist as new CEO?
oh, this place will be dead and gone soon, see you at the next one
If certain people are worried about white people becoming a minority in America, maybe they should quit starting wars.
