Contrast the Epstein headline with how NYT covered Harvard president Claudine Gay (“embattled”) or Biden’s age (“battles doubts”).
Both surely had supporters who’d go on record saying they don’t have a problem with it, so NYT could have done a “united” headline instead.
But that’s only for Trump.

We've been here before. In 2019, Mexico deployed 15,000 National Guard to the U.S.-Mexico border at Trump's demand. It had zero impact on fentanyl smuggling — because it's not migrants who are smuggling fentanyl in the overwhelming majority of cases. The fentanyl flow continued to rise each year.
So Trump hurt America's relationship with Canada and made markets wobble all to "get" Canada to do things Canada had announced back in December in coordination with the Biden administration, do I have that right?
