Some of the Marvel movies. I used to have a tradition where my dad and I would see them on opening night. Since I moved away for school, that's not possible. I will now see them opening night and when I am free to see them with dad.

I thought it was fun but also made some good commentary on today's society. Not sure if I'd go see it in IMAX since it's expensive. I don't typically see movies in theaters twice unless I really like it.

This isn't uncommon though. Autstic folks can be found in many work fields, but that's still fairly new. There's still people who refuse to accomodate us. There's other that don't know how. It's going to take a lot more time and education before we reach liberation. Am I making sense?

Speaking as someone who is autistic, it still feels like we are a long way off from liberation. I still have to fight for accommodations. I don't see very many people like me in the field I'm in. Neither have my professors. They are unsure (some don't care) how to support me. It's frustrating.

I know! Have fun in Columbus! I'm aiming for EDE again as well. The Calgary one is too late in the year since it's likely during school.

Studies show that learning one language helps your brain be more receptive to learning another.

I'm glad I learned Hebrew first! Having learned one language made it easier to learn Spanish! Granted my Hebrew isn't what it used to be. I was best at it right when I had my Bat Mitzvah, but that was 15 years ago.

I still get so frustrated with automated phone systems. No I don't want to use your automated phone system to fix my problem. All those things you last as departments, 90% they go to the same group of people. Just give me a live person. Stop being cheap.

2nd year of vet school starts Monday!

Man. ADHD really took me for a loop. I went from looking up something in my notes to calling Apple because I am having issues with my iPad.

What Jewish texts are available for pet ownership and care? Much of what I have seen is related to livestock. I'm in vet school and want to find more Jewish resources within the field.
