i grew up with james bond jr and pierce brosnan. i really donโt give af what they do to 007.
did anything even come out yet? i thought that epitaphs from the abyss is coming out in july.
if anyone is interested, hereโs the apple playlist for my soundtrack to my new story.
sort of a preview of whatโs to comeโฆ.

i think iโm pretty happy with it and i guess thatโs all that matters. but iโm hoping others will enjoy it too.
okay iโm almost finished with my new writing project for my zine.
itโs a 10,000 word semi-autobiographical story that takes place over one day in 1998 and involves the remake of โpsychoโ and a fugazi concert.
the fact that thereโs some good stuff in it almost makes it even more infuriating because it was in service of such tone deaf dreck. iโm definitely avoiding rubenโs films from now on. wonโt fool me thrice.
now that Iโve had a couple days to think about itโฆ. I very much did not care for โheart eyesโ. thereโs more to like in it than in โscare meโ, but it still canโt escape its own terrible script.
any chance youโll ever get at that PM catalog?
was leni riefenstahl a dei hire?
kinda like we should all avoid knowing anything about Sakkari now!
not really sure who needs to see this right nowโฆ maybe we all do.
let your love grow with the smallest of dreams todayโฆ.

โgarfield: a tail of two kittiesโ has a pretty incredible cast that kind of elevates this little delight into a minor masterpieceโฆ. but goddamn it, roger rees is so brilliant. heโs the anchor. you buy this ridiculous world because of him.
julie doiron and the wooden stars still hits so hard. what a fucking album.
four guys i definitely could not keep up with (and wouldnโt want to try)
ebert was so weird with sex. he acted like a 12 year old horn dog in that sense, but he was often at odds with films that showed sex in an explicit, challenging or thoughtful manner.
i hate watched every week as a kid. they were my first experiences of screaming at the television.
yeah itโs cornyโฆ but this movie works. sure, the music does a lot of the heavy liftingโฆ but I revisit it every few years or so and it always hits for me.
god i love sunrises in new york city (hashtag no filter)
sometimes i feel like iโm the only film geek alive who still admits they hated siskel and ebert.
thereโs plenty of good ones, but the ratio is insane. musical biopics tend to be the absolute worst. for every โtopsy turvyโ or โyankee doodle dandyโ you seem to get three dozen โbohemian rhapsodyโs or that putrid judy garland movie.
love it. death to biopics!
are you messing with me?
3/4 of what they portrayed regarding newport is utter bs. Dylan โgoing electricโ is just about the most overblown controversy in the history of rock and roll.
and donโt take my word for it.. itโs all recorded. just listen to the records.
canโt touch soderbergh
the leads are all fine except norton as pete seeger who is extremely fun to watchโฆ especially when he is nodding his head approvingly with a knowing grin whenever heโs hearing a new Dylan song for the first time.
the dylan movie is so supremely stupid. the entire dramatic crux of the film is โwill he go electric at newport 65โ? there is literally nothing else to this insignificant piece of dress up hokum, except maybe a tiny guthrie side story that goes nowhere.
honestlyโฆ if you think little things like laws and constitutionality are going to stand in his way, you really have not been paying attention.
the old rules no longer apply.
itโs already happeningโฆ i thought it would maybe be a month or two before he started โjokingโ about a third termโฆ but heโs already doing it.
thereโs no doubt in my mind whatโs coming.
call me crazy all you wantโฆ but every single warning sign is being checked off like some apocalyptic to-do list.
