Goevemeber has finally ended. 1:55:53! It's been a mighty grind. Keeping a good attitude with this category can be crippling at times but it's necessary. This run itself had several missteps in it but I kept pushing and we came out ahead in the end. Not my final time forever, but for now, I'm happy!

Very unexpectedly Konami has announced a Goemon collection, coming July 2nd 2026. Actually seeing them acknowledge Goemon in a serious way is pretty surprising to see. Whats amazing is, thats not saturn UI. The game itself has some sort of OS, and that detected the crash and stopped the pinball game. This is so rare in a console game.

A prototype build of the unreleased Famicom RPG "Splatterworld" has been found. It was posted by an anonymous user on 4chan and appears to be a later build compared to the then-only known footage of the game. I'm curious to see if there will be efforts to fan translate this into English.

Got the first 38:3X in Elwood today. This is WR for now, but as it stands both Nyeron and DJBunyan could easily take this time back. I don't think a 2X is that unrealistic. I'll do my final set of runs Thursday morning but I will be moving my focus to MNSG 100% in November.
Pretty big week for BB2000. Nyeron, DJBunyan and I all hit 38:XX this week. I hit the mark just before Saturday ended. All of us also cut the former WR's time this week. Game is popping off right now. Definitely will keep doing runs but Goevember is also approaching!

Yesterday I beat Jeanne D'Arc. This is the first strategy RPG I've ever completed. The story does taper off but I always found the gameplay engaging. It was always exciting figuring out how to exploit game mechanics. Never had to grind. I look forward to @thelcc.bsky.social's playthrough in 203X.

New Goemon 2 PB achieved! 38:35. I think this time is a good representation of where I'm at currently. My biggest setbacks are the Impact fights. It's truly GGA all over again. Will do more practicing to juice future PBs and play more casuals. Clip related.

On Sunday, I finally began my SFC Goemon 2 RTA journey after practicing and learning the game all of February. Today we hit our first major milestone, a Sub 40. I'm excited to continue to lower this time down. Game is chill to run.
Having to constantly deal with going over the limit for highlights is going to be so irritating.
