Congrats on continued progress and a good problem to have. Finally bought a new sport coat to prep for AB this year. Couldn’t believe the difference to the old one.

I had good luck with slim fit for nicer outfits if it’s actually sized correctly, but things like jeans or stuff to do physical labor in, forget it.

There’s so much I enjoy about this show, but above all the thing that sticks with me is how often it took time to instill a sense of wonder and awe through its soundtrack and shots. It made you feel like there was something magical out in that universe, even if it was just the beauty of locations.

Yes I’d prefer Blu Ray, but it’s still an improvement over it being just GONE from streaming.

Bunch of time in front screens early this week with Anime Boston prep work so I took about a 90 minutes to not look at one for awhile and finished the RG Fukuoka Nu Gundam torso.

Time will tell if I actually finish this build before AB. 😉

Well it’s for real this time. My truly final order from Mecha Warehouse arrived today. Is it stuff I really needed? Not really, but it’s all stuff I’ll have a use for down the road and even though I have a sizeable stack of them from so many past orders, I grabbed one last pack of MW stickers.

Again only one night this week to work on a lot, but the Fukuoka version of the RG Nu Gundam now has a waist!

Since spending the last 90 minutes digging out a new parking spot; just a reminder that even if it’s cold out, you still need to hydrate before/during/after shoveling snow. Take breaks and drink some water.

Well if I had to come in during the blizzard as essential and there’s limited options for lunch, I’m at least going to get myself a toy robot for my troubles.

Re: Otakon panels. I asked on Facebook and it was confirmed that the Mecha Kaikan is returning. There’s some other great news about the programming tracks too.

Both goalies have been great, and the team has been ridiculous on defense all tournament. 31 goals in six games, only one allowed, five shutouts. Absolute madness.

Also if you haven’t been following how the US Women’s team has been doing, you’re missing out. Aerin Frankel has been amazing. She’s already had THREE shutouts and this is her first Olympics.

I will cheer for the teams, but man, the US Olympic Hockey Teams’ jerseys are so boring compared to most of the other countries.

There’s two pairs of runners where they have the same letter, but use different colors so I’ll have to pay extra attention to if an “F” part needs to come from the blue runner or the black.

Only chance all week I’ve had both time and energy to build, but got the first leg done of the Real Grade Nu Gundam (Fukuoka style)

Forgot to post this last night, quickly finished special version of the Gunpla-kun I got via Secret Santa in a builders group I’m in. The different colors are to make it look like the movie poster art.

Of course, seeing this design come out so well, I can’t help but think if Kotobukiya can manage this, why can’t Bandai get us a 1/100 of the BuCUE and/or LaGOWE?

I’m already looking at other HMM Zoids models go consider putting on my wish list. The Dark Horn is really catching my eye.
