Yeah different tribes’ ability to choose their own citizenship requirements is enacting their sovereignty IMO, which is obviously good and I’m here for it. But I just disagree with BQ having merit as one of those choices. Just an opinion.

This further solidifies my view that BQ based citizenship is a eugenics trap that many nations have fallen for. It is a system that upholds white supremacy.

I would love to see a more universal switch to proof of descendancy, within a reasonable generation range. I think now is a very good time to.

Something really fucked up about BQ based citizenship, is that BQ and white passing-ness are ≠.

Even from sibling to sibling, one can be white passing, one could not. With the same BQ, they would both be denied tribal ID. And with the detainments of brown people right now, that’s very dangerous.
