that's not even considering the selection bias when it comes to:
- the clips Kirk chose to publish
- how they were edited
- which ones went viral

so you're ultimately judging all of academia based on... what, mayyybe a few dozen heavily edited clips of the most inarticulate kids Kirk could find.

the debates between Kirk and students aren't a significant enough sample size to draw the kind of conclusions you're drawing. there's also a huge selection bias, since the kids who debate Kirk are inherently going to be ones who both disagree with Kirk and are willing to publicly debate.
