Capitol Crawl: an iconic protest held 35 yrs ago to demand the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
500+ people, including disability activists and lobbyists, marched from the White House to the US Capitol, climbing the inaccessible west side steps backwards or on their hands & knees.

Today is the 35th anniversary of the Capitol Crawl, in which disabled activists discarded their mobility aids at the foot of the Capitol steps to climb them in support of passage of the Americans with Disabilities Ac. Jennifer Keelan-Chaffins, 8, told reporters "I'll take all night if I have to!"
When I worked on The Office, Greg Daniels had a list of questions he asked of every story. Some were show-specific (eg “Are we saying something truthful if exaggerated about office life?”), but many are applicable to any script. Here’s a little thread on them…

I The grand canyon, in particular, does not have any safety barricades. That made it extra exciting for me to tap my white cane out to the edge and freak EVERYONE out. I only did that a few dozen times🤣.

I decided to go soak up the sun in Vegas for my birthday. My dad and I are going to take a bus tour out to the grand canyon tomorrow. But I can't decide which museum or attraction should I try to do before coming home Thursday night. I'm thinking maybe the mob museum. Any suggestions?
