Stach wins the ball surging from his own half, slips it to Nmecha who waits and plays in Piroe who classically joels it into the corner as safe as houses. A good performance, enjoyable game and Farke had a decent view of it from the stands. This is officially a cup run. #LEENOR
Slimane came close, but Leeds basically controlled most of the game. Stach Struijk and Bogle come on to regain overall control and soon after Gnonto plays in Piroe who smacks the crossbar like a misbehaving child in the forties. Theres a light handball shout and once more
Justin for Bornauw at half time as RB wasnt really working. Tanaka started to run out of steam a bit after a very solid half an hour spell in the first half. Magoma flicks a lovely ball through for Gibbs who registers Norwich first attempt
BOOM Shaun 'Bergkamp' Longstaff flicks and turns besting the keeper at the inside post with some beautiful work. Gnonto is then offside for a James cross he heads between the sticks. Guddmundson later makes it two with a deflected James cross dropping at his feet inside the box
Ampadu plays a sublime long ball over the top for James who played to Nmecha in the centre as a well timed push in the back moved him off direction. Nmecha took quite a battering in the first half with no cover from the ref at all. Ampadu has a penalty claim as we press and then
Early on we slowly started to build pressure until Gnonto won what turned out to be a handball, albeit unlucky, knock on to Nmecha who tucks away the dissallowed goal. Gnonto then shoots over the bar soon after as we took control of the game.
A great home result takes us further in the FA Cup. Podcast and spotify link before written match review. #LUFC

We March On Towards Wembley. #MOT
9 changes, Bornauw at rightback but controlled large swathes of the match #LEEDS
Solid performance. Piroe gets his first since the four against stoke. Some good performances and Gnonto wearing the shirt well pushing the envelope. Ten mins of Norwich pressure but Leeds fully in control for large swathes of this and we officially have a cup run. #LUFC
Great first half display. Ball in the net four times. Two counted. Lots of good football on display and we are really showing our quality with James, Gnonto, Tanaka and Nmecha really shining. Nmecha keeps getting late tackles on him but still going strong. Longstaffs goal π₯ #LUFC
Okay, time for some squad members to stake a claim for a starting shirt. #LUFC
I am also not sure but thanks buddy and enjoy tomorrow. A cup run/break is a welcome Siesta
No I didn't even think of that I did Spotify. Thank you, will do that in the morning
youtu.be/NGIwJdgyPV8 This is my first attempt at a podcast. Please let me know what you think. MOT #LUFC
Tanaka and Ampadu against McLean will be physical. If we transition fast through Gnonto and James, their back four won't cope with our 3-4-3 possession shifts. #Matchday #MOT
Major rotation expected. Perri should start in goal after his Birmingham heroics. Weβre missing Okafor, but Rodon and Justin are fit. Norwich are thin up top with Toure and Schwartau both ruled out. #InjuryNews #Leeds
Daniel Farke is touchline banned but sounded calm, insisting we need that cup magic. Meanwhile, Clement is talking up their nothing to lose attitude. We can't let them settle into their rhythm early. A good cup game could really lift spirits, a welcome distraction. #Farke #LUFC
Set pieces will be huge. Weβve conceded 31% of goals from dead balls lately, while Norwich are lethal there. Bijol and Bournauw must be perfect in the air to stop their 1.4 xG per game threat. #ALAW #FACup
Our xG at home has stayed high at 1.8 despite the losses, so the goals will come if we stay clinical. A fair few players need to look at the Sunderland performance and stake a claim to start in the PL. #Leeds #NCFC
Back at Elland Road for the FA Cup 5th round. After a tough week in the PL, we need a massive response against the Canaries. History is on our side with 6 wins in our last 8 meetings. Let's set the tone early. A fair few fringe players should be looking to impress. #LUFC #MOT
The atmosphere was electric. Both sets of fans were raucous, but the South Stand was a wall of noise. In his presser, Farke called the decisions crazy, while Le Bris admitted they were very lucky. Tonights results we will now watch tentatively
Despite the loss, our stability in the league looks solid compared to the chaos of previous years. The players showed a resilient, competing attitude that proves we are too good for this relegation scrap. Rodon was slightly off side for his goal just before the penalty.
The decisive goal came in the 70th minute. Habib Diarra converted a penalty after a handball against Ampadu. It was their only shot on target all night, about a smash and grab. Darlow saved it low and it curled up into the net off his thigh. We were unlucky
Ethan Ampadu and Stach were immense despite the result. Stach managed 6 interceptions and 5 tackles, while Ampadu dictated play with a 90% pass accuracy. They won the physical battle in the middle. Struijk was a wall and could have had a penalty after a tussle with O'Nein
Daniel Farke set us up in our usual fluid shape, with Anton Stach pulling the strings. We had 70% possession and 18 shots, yet Sunderlandβs low block remained a frustratingly stubborn nut to crack. #MOT
Absence of luck, but never of heart. Last night at Elland Road was a tough one for us fans. We dominated everywhere but the scoresheet. Here is my tactical breakdown of the 1-0 loss to Sunderland. #LUFC
Absolute dominance. DCL, Aaronson and Bogle with chances. Not great in the final third but complete control of this on. Stach and Ampadu immense, Aaronson everywhere. Completely out working them. More in the second half please and a few more whipped balls into the box #LUFC
No changes. Looking to start on the front foot here. Ampadu has a game on and he is more than capable. Hoping to see Stach in a more advanced position today based on the opposition. #LUFC
